Discovering suitable applications on the Google Play Store has become simpler with the introduction of a fresh review-searching tool. As initially reported by Android Authority, this capability enables users to query reviews within an app's page on the platform. Currently limited to precise matches involving a minimum of two words, the tool aids in pinpointing whether particular applications or games include desired functionalities or play mechanics.

To access this option, users must first select the 'See all reviews' option on the Play Store interface. The feature also displays suggested common queries alongside it. Resembling Amazon's review-searching mechanism for customers, it highlights matching terms directly within the displayed feedback.

This review-searching option represents a significant enhancement for the Play Store, particularly in contrast to the Apple App Store, which merely allows sorting of app feedback. In parallel, Google has intensified efforts to remove policy-violating applications over recent times, and this new functionality provides an extra means for users to evaluate any potentially overlooked problematic software.
