Apple appears ready to reveal several hardware updates, featuring enhancements to the base-model iPad, iPad Air, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air, as detailed in Mark Gurman's latest Power On newsletter. Consistent with patterns from previous years, the analyst indicates that the event is scheduled to begin as soon as the week starting March 2.
The company introduced the M5-powered MacBook Pro last October, initially for the 14-inch version. Upcoming releases are anticipated to introduce the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors. According to Gurman, refreshed 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are in development, alongside an updated MacBook Air. Additionally, fresh iPad variants are expected shortly, including a base iPad equipped with the A18 processor to enable Apple Intelligence features, while the iPad Air receives the M4 chip.
Further modifications to the Mac Studio and Studio Display are projected to come next, with a Mac mini overhaul planned for later in the year. As mentioned earlier by Gurman, Apple is reportedly preparing to introduce its inaugural budget-friendly MacBook in the coming months.
