The independent studio Ivy Road, responsible for the Annapurna Interactive-released relaxing adventure Wanderstop, will cease operations at the end of March. Although the title earned positive reviews and praise from critics, its success apparently fell short of supporting the team's ongoing work on an upcoming project without external financial backing. According to the studio's statement, Ivy Road could not secure investment or a publishing agreement for its next endeavor, titled Engine Angel. The challenges in obtaining resources for this follow-up were initially revealed in January, when the company reduced its staff by five employees.
