Sennheiser has released the RS 275 TV Headphones paired with the BTA1 digital receiver. Featuring Auracast technology, these headphones deliver audio with minimal delay over distances reaching 50 meters and support pairing with additional Auracast-compatible or traditional Bluetooth devices. Auracast represents an advancement in Bluetooth audio broadcasting, gaining prominence following its showcase at CES 2024, where we covered its potential in detail. The receiver broadcasts an Auracast signal throughout a room, allowing connection from various compatible products, such as hearing assistance devices, speakers, or additional headphone models.

The RS 275 model offers up to 50 hours of playback time from one charge and can recharge via the USB-C connection on the receiver. Built with user comfort in mind for extended use, the headphones include user-replaceable ear pads and battery components. Customization options are available through the Sennheiser Smart Control Plus application, which enables locating misplaced units and adjusting settings like ambient sound passthrough, audio balance between ears, personalized hearing adjustments, and sound profiles tailored to specific device categories.

Priced at $300 for the complete RS 275 bundle, the BTA1 receiver alone will sell for $130. Reservations begin on February 3, with deliveries scheduled to commence on February 17.
