At CES 2026, Rokid, a firm specializing in smart eyewear, unveiled its latest innovation: the 'Style' model, which operates without an integrated screen and is designed for extended daily wear while accommodating prescription lenses.

The Style glasses integrate support for various AI platforms, such as ChatGPT and DeepSeek, allowing flexibility beyond reliance on a single language model. Additionally, they connect seamlessly with services like Google Maps and Microsoft's translation technology powered by AI.

Equipped with a two-processor system, the device uses an NXP RT600 chip for energy-efficient, constant operation duties and a Qualcomm AR1 for demanding AI processing and visual tasks. According to Rokid, this design enables battery endurance of as much as 12 hours during standard activities.

Featuring a forward-facing 12-megapixel camera with a Sony image sensor capable of 4K video recording, the glasses offer options for three distinct aspect ratios to simplify content production tailored to various social media formats. They permit up to 10 minutes of uninterrupted video recording, surpassing the approximately three-minute cap found on Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses.

Weighing just 38.5 grams, the Style model includes slim lenses protected by anti-scratch layers. This makes it slightly lighter compared to the display-equipped Rokid glasses evaluated earlier this year. Options include photochromic lenses in multiple hues, with frames available in two styles.

Reservations for the Style glasses are open now, requiring only a $1 deposit, with a worldwide launch scheduled for January 19. Priced at $300, the eyewear qualifies for a $20 discount when bought for individuals with visual impairments, courtesy of Rokid.
