The electric vehicle arm from Rivian, known as Also, has set a $3,500 entry-level price for its inaugural e-bike, the TM-B. This innovative bicycle, which can adapt its form, was introduced last month and comes in variants including a restricted Launch edition, a Performance variant, and the standard edition. At the launch event, Also indicated that the Launch and Performance versions of the TM-B would begin at $4,500, while suggesting the basic version would cost under $4,000.

Although the entry-level TM-B saves more than $1,000 compared to the premium variants, it includes trade-offs such as a maximum range of 60 miles, 5x level power assistance, coil-based front suspension, and solely the standard riding option. By contrast, the upscale TM-B configurations offer a potential 100-mile distance, 10x power boost, air-sprung fork, and selections between sporty and regular riding settings. The basic TM-B is exclusively available in a full gray finish, forgoing the see-through exterior that displays the innovative virtual transmission system named DreamRide.

Even though the TM-B's initial pricing is lower than initially anticipated, it remains a high-end option in the e-bike market. Preorders for the base TM-B edition are open now, requiring a $50 reversible deposit, with deliveries scheduled to commence in late 2026, as stated by Also.
