LG has revealed its latest Gram AI notebooks just prior to CES 2026, positioning them as exceptionally mobile devices and claiming they represent the lightest options available in their segment. The key to this reduced mass lies in a custom alloy the manufacturer has named Aerominum.
Engineered to decrease overall heft without compromising rigidity, Aerominum helps create notebooks that balance portability with toughness. Every version in the series demonstrates enhanced protection against surface damage alongside a refined metal-like exterior. Furthermore, the designs adhere to rigorous military specifications for endurance.
The AI component in the branding points to built-in support for Microsoft Copilot+ PC alongside LG's native processing framework. This setup enables the notebooks to execute select artificial intelligence operations independently, even offline without network connectivity.
Users can leverage LG's Link functionality on these notebooks, facilitating effortless exchange of files and projection of displays among diverse hardware. The system integrates with cellular phones, webOS-enabled gear, television sets, external screens, and projection equipment.
The revamped collection introduces two distinct models. The LG Gram Pro 17 includes a 17-inch WQXGA LCD panel paired with the newest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics processor, earning recognition as the global lightest 17-inch computing device. Meanwhile, the LG Gram Pro 16 employs an OLED screen and operates using the most advanced Intel Core Ultra central processing units.
