Katsuhiro Harada will leave Bandai Namco by the close of 2025. He shared the announcement through a goodbye message on X, paired with an impressive one-hour DJ set. Throughout his three-decade tenure, Harada has been prominently linked to the Tekken series and is well-recognized within the fighting game scene.

Harada first contributed as a voice performer in the initial Tekken installment and maintained that role while advancing to direct the franchise. Additionally, he served as a producer on various Bandai Namco games across different genres, including those beyond fighting titles. In his X post, Harada reflected, 'Each project was full of new discoveries and learning, and every one of them became an irreplaceable experience for me.' He added, 'To everyone who has supported me, to communities around the world, and to all the colleagues who have walked alongside me for so many years, I offer my deepest gratitude.'

Harada noted that he had never performed as a DJ at any tournament during his professional journey. To commemorate his exit, he uploaded a complete mix named 'TEKKEN: A 30-Year Journey – Harada’s Final Mix' on SoundCloud, offering fans a memorable send-off.
