As part of broader efforts by major technology firms to boost artificial intelligence usage, Google recently introduced a meme-making capability. Known as Me Meme, this update to Google Photos enables individuals to design tailored memes that incorporate an artificial rendition of their own appearance.

Google characterizes Me Meme as 'a simple way to explore with your photos and create content that's ready to share with friends and family.' Users have the flexibility to select among multiple template designs or 'upload your own funny picture' as a substitute.

The functionality remains unavailable to all users at present, which could mean limited immediate access. According to a Google spokesperson speaking to TechCrunch, the rollout will extend to Android and iOS platforms throughout the next few weeks. Upon activation, individuals can activate it within the Google Photos application by selecting the Create option located at the screen's base, followed by Me Meme. The process involves picking a template and providing a reference image, complete with a regeneration choice for unsatisfactory outcomes.

Google advises that Me Meme performs optimally using images that are properly illuminated, sharply focused, and show a forward-facing portrait. The organization cautions, 'This feature is still experimental, so generated images may not perfectly match the original photo.'
