The studio behind Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Sandfall Interactive, capitalized on the momentum from the RPG's standout performance at The Game Awards by releasing a complimentary 'Thank You' update to show appreciation to its community.

Far from a simple fix, this expansion introduces an explorable area along with additional challenging encounters designed for advanced players. It further incorporates fresh soundtrack pieces, a photography feature, and expanded language support for text and interface elements. Additional enhancements focus on user experience improvements, such as better optimization for portable computing devices.

At The Game Awards 2025, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 secured an unprecedented nine honors, encompassing Game of the Year, Best RPG, Best Art Direction, Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Performance by Jennifer English, Best Score and Music, Best Debut Game, and Best Indie Game. This surpasses the prior benchmark set by The Last of Us Part II, which claimed seven trophies in 2020.

The complimentary 'Thank You' content for the title is currently being deployed. A preview trailer is available to showcase the additions.
