Apple is gearing up to introduce an enhanced Siri assistant powered by Google's Gemini technology. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman states that the firm aims to disclose details of this upgraded version during the latter weeks of February, emphasizing the benefits of its fresh alliance with Google and showcasing hands-on examples of the Gemini-enhanced functions.

Once unveiled, the refreshed Siri is set to integrate into iOS 26.4, which will begin beta trials in February ahead of a wider launch in March or the start of April. The tech giant has been preparing this successor to Siri since its initial tease at WWDC 2024, and a prior Bloomberg update last week revealed that the Gemini-infused model will operate akin to an AI conversational agent, much like OpenAI's ChatGPT.

In the wake of the anticipated late-February showcase, Apple intends a full presentation of the reinvented Siri—codenamed Campos—at its summer developer gathering. Following this, the modernized Siri and its linked Gemini-enabled Apple Intelligence tools are projected to launch alongside iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, with early beta access planned for the summer period.
