Apple Arcade is gearing up for a strong winter lineup, with several notable games joining the service starting December 4. These titles can be accessed across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro devices.
Leading the additions is the Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, an adaptation of the highly engaging roguelike and town-building hybrid. Tailored for Arcade users, it introduces exclusive elements such as fresh follower appearances, decorative items, and clothing options. The edition encompasses all prior content expansions, but Apple has yet to confirm plans for future updates.
At its core, Cult of the Lamb combines two distinct gameplay styles: a top-down action segment and a base-management system, where the two elements blend in creative and frequently amusing manners. Players have the option to use unconventional resources, like waste, to sustain their followers.
PowerWash Simulator, the popular cleaning simulation title, is also slated for release on Apple Arcade in December. Its calming routine of removing dirt and stains aligns well with the platform's offerings. The game's follow-up launched recently on competing systems, making it ideal for those who enjoy meticulous tidying tasks.
Apple is releasing a follow-up to the earlier SpongeBob Patty Pursuit. In this Arcade-exclusive SpongeBob Patty Pursuit 2, users control both SpongeBob and Plankton through a horizontal-scrolling quest. The original entry received positive critical reception.
Additional releases on December 4 include the enhanced versions Subway Surfers+ and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm+. Moreover, a fresh title for Apple Vision Pro arrives on Arcade this week: Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss becomes available November 13 as an augmented reality tactical role-playing game.
