Anthropic is rolling out a short-term incentive to enhance access to its Claude AI amid surging demand, by providing twice the standard usage allowances during quieter times. Running from March 13 through March 27, this perk will benefit subscribers on Free, Pro, Max, and Team tiers with expanded limits during a designated five-hour period outside peak weekday usage from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. Officials at the company note that the upgrade will apply seamlessly without any need for users to activate it manually.
The offer extends across various access points for Claude, encompassing web, desktop, and mobile interfaces, along with specialized tools such as Cowork, Claude Code, Claude for Excel, and Claude for PowerPoint. Earlier, from December 25 to December 31, Anthropic ran a comparable initiative that doubled capacities exclusively for Pro and select Max subscribers, including the 5x and 20x options. The new version broadens its scope significantly, omitting only Enterprise accounts from participation.
