The company Analogue has introduced fresh limited-edition options for its 3D console, tapping into obscure design motifs from unreleased prototypes of the classic Nintendo 64. These variants draw from hues that were produced for the original hardware but ultimately shelved. The new releases feature shades such as Ghost, Glacier, Extreme Green, Ocean, and Atomic Purple.
While primarily a visual enhancement, the packages include coordinated cables, power supplies, and 16GB SD cards loaded from the start. Analogue has collaborated once more with 8BitDo to offer controllers that align in color, enhancing the nostalgic aesthetic.
The firm indicates that these editions will launch in very restricted numbers on February 9 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. Previous releases of the Analogue 3D and its Funtastic variants depleted stock rapidly, so timely action is advised. Each unit is priced at $299.99, with delivery expected within 24 to 48 hours of purchase confirmation. The 8BitDo controllers, at $49.99 each, open for preorders simultaneously but begin shipping in April.
